How to Get Your College Transcripts

It is time to get your High School Transcripts!

Luckily, requesting your official High School Transcripts from Garnet Patterson STAY High School, the former Roosevelt STAY HS is simple.

Who do I contact to get our school transcripts?

For you, another High School in DCPS or another State HS, or for a university to receive your official college transcripts, you will need to contact Ms. Lucinda Lovos at lucinda.lovos@k12.dc.gov or call her at (202) 576-8399 during business hours. Ms. Lovos will send your transcripts directly to the institution or to the university admissions office you hope to attend or simply mail them directly to you. Getting your transcripts directly to the institution or university you are applying to is the fastest, easiest method!

We do not email official transcripts to personal emails for security and safety reasons.

Our school charges $ 5.00 for sending your official transcripts to other institutions or you and $ 3.00 for sending unofficial transcripts.

What is the difference between an unofficial transcript and an official transcript?

An official transcript can only come from our school’s Office/Records Office and be given to another institution without being tampered with. An official transcript is the reproduction of a complete, unabridged permanent academic record validated with our school seal, facsimile signature of the registrar, and date of issue.

An unofficial transcript is a transcript that you, as the student, can look at/print out/email yourself.

If you receive your official transcript from the Registrar’s Office and open it yourself, it immediately becomes unusable by institutions that require an official transcript.
